Welcome to the Portage Inlet Protection Society
The Portage Inlet Protection Society (PIPS) represents waterfront residents of Esquimalt, View Royal and Saanich on Portage Inlet, Gorge Waterway and tributaries.
Formed in 2001, PIPS has evolved steadily toward environmental stewardship: informed care and concern for the health of the Gorge Waterway, its shoreline and watershed. The Portage Inlet Protection Society seeks to foster a social climate of responsibility, and to protect everyone's rights to access and enjoy this unique resource.
